NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Jordan So and Chris Menard collected two goals and two assists apiece as Trinity downed Bowdoin 10-5 in their regular- season men’s hockey finale Monday night.

Ollie Koo scored one goal and assisted on two others for the Polar Bears.

Despite the loss to Trinity (14-6-3, 11-4-3 NESCAC), Bowdoin (19-3-2, 13-3-2) is the top seed in the conference tournament and will host eighth-seeded Hamilton at 1 p.m. Saturday.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

(25) NOTRE DAME 51, (20) PITTSBURGH 42: Jerian Grant and Jack Cooley scored 13 points each, and the Irish (21-6, 9-5 Big East) overcome a horrendous shooting start to upset the Panthers (20-7, 8-6) at Pittsburgh.

INDIANA MANAGED to hold onto the No. 1 spot in The Associated Press’ Top 25 for the third straight week.

The Hoosiers received 43 first-place votes from the 65-member national media panel.

Miami had 20 No. 1 votes and moved up a spot to second. Gonzaga, with the other two first-place votes, climbed to third.

Michigan State rose from eighth to No. 4 and was followed by Florida, Duke, Michigan, Syracuse, Kansas and Louisville.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

(1) BAYLOR 76, (3) CONNECTICUT 70: Brittney Griner scored 25 points, including the 3,000th of her career, to help top-ranked Baylor rally and beat the Huskies at Hartford, Conn., extending the Bears’ winning streak to 23 games.

Griner became the eighth player in Division I history to reach the milestone, doing it on two free throws with 1:05 left.

(8) KENTUCKY 70, (10) TEXAS A&M 66: DeNesha Stallworth had 12 points and 12 rebounds as Kentucky (23-3, 11-2 SEC) won at College Station, Texas.
