LEBANON — Seven students escaped uninjured after their school bus driver allegedly failed to yield to an oncoming car on Route 202 in Lebanon Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at 7:51 a.m. as the driver, John Chanley, 47 of Berwick, was pulling out from Creamery Hill Road to cross Route 202 after having stopped at the stop sign, said Trooper Matt Williams.

Chanley said he did not see the approaching westbound Grand Marquis driven by Kim Scott, 46, of Lebanon that collided with the passenger side door. Police plan to issue Chanley a citation for failure to yield.
The force of the collision sent the bus into a snow bank, said Assistant Rescue Chief Jason Cole.
Scott was taken by ambulance to Goodall Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, Williams said.
The car was destroyed and the bus door damaged in the collision, Williams said. None of the seven children on board, ranging in age from 5 to 10, was hurt. Route 202 was restricted to one lane for about an hour as police investigated the crash.
The bus is owned by MSAD 60, the school district serving Berwick and Lebanon.
