Pops concert

at BEHS

The Bonny Eagle High School music program is hosting a concert, “Pops Night,” at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, in the school cafeteria.

For the past three years, the program has presented a concert featuring students doing solo and small group performances on contemporary rock, pop, and jazz pieces.

This year, music students will present a variety of pieces in small groups, and in larger ensembles encompassing music from television, movies, popular rock and pop pieces. Jan Gill, a local vocalist and keyboard player with a background in blues, soul, and rock, is guest artist. Gill is the mother of music teacher Jacob Sturtevant.

The event will serve as a fundraiser with brownie sundaes, beverages, and bake sale items for sale. Donations also will be accepted for the Bonny Eagle Music Boosters.
