In nine games against the Pirates, rookie right wing Tyler Toffoli has scored nine goals and right wing Linden Vey and rookie center Jordan Weal each have eight assists. While making 12 consecutive starts for Manchester goaltender Martin Jones has compiled a 2.75 goals-against average.

PIRATES NOTES: The Pirates, who play 12 of their final 20 games on their home ice, have earned points in their last six home games. Portland is 5-4 against Manchester this season. Rookie forward Chris Brown has scored six goals in his last eight games. In nine games against the Monarchs, veteran left wing Rob Klinkhammer has three goals and six assists, and veteran center Chris Conner has scored four goals and rookie forward Darian Dziurzynski has scored three goals.
