PORTLAND — The city’s public schools will hold a Kindergarten Readiness Night on Thursday to provide information to the families of students expected to enter school in the fall.
Children who turn 5 on or before Oct. 15 are eligible to attend kindergarten in the fall.
A panel of staff members from across the district will be present to answer questions related to kindergarten. The event will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at East End Community School, 195 North St., and is sponsored by the district’s pre-school programming staff.
