PORTLAND – Erin Bogdanovich threw a no-hitter as the South Portland softball team stomped Cheverus 12-1 Monday.

Danica Gleason went 4 for 4 with a home run, four RBI and four runs scored to lead the Red Riots (9-2) past the Stags (6-4).

Bogdanovich struck out nine, walked two and allowed an unearned run. Sam DiBiase added three hits and four RBI.

THORNTON ACADEMY 16, DEERING 0: Bailey Trembley allowed just one hit through five innings and struck out 10 as Thornton Academy(4-4) routed host Deering (0-9).

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 4. POLAND 1: Sarah Harriman pitched a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts to lead Fryeburg Academy (11-1) over Poland (6-4) at Fryeburg.

Maddie Pearson gave the Raiders the lead with a two-run homer in the first.

Beth Maheux scored the lone run for Poland after reaching base with a triple in the seventh.

MARSHWOOD 9, GORHAM 0: Gianna Riccardi set the tone for the game with a leadoff homer in the bottom of the first as Marshwood (7-3) defeated Gorham (3-7) at South Berwick.

Riccardi finished 3 for 4 with three RBI. Sammy Crosman was 4 for 4 with three RBI.

Nicole Harvey provided a two-hit shutout with six strikeouts and two walks.

NOBLE 6, MASSABESIC 0: Amber Kelly tossed a complete-game five-hit shutout for the Knights (7-3) against the Mustangs (4-7) at Waterboro.

Kelly added three hits, including a triple. Molly Pritchett had a two-run RBI to key a four-run fifth inning for Noble.

CAPE ELIZABETH 17, FREEPORT 5: Hannah Satterly was 3 for 4 at the plate with two doubles, an RBI and three runs scored as the Capers (10-0) rolled over Freeport (4-6) in a five-inning game at Cape Elizabeth.

Mary Perkins hit a three-run homer in the third inning for Cape and Tess Haller finished with two RBI.

WINDHAM 15, PORTLAND 3: Colleen Holtan hit a three-run homer and Maddie Elliott followed with a solo shot, staking the host Eagles (4-6) to a 5-0 first-inning lead over the Bulldogs (2-10).

Haley Plante added three hits and three RBI for Windham. Amanda Gould homered for Portland.

SCARBOROUGH 16, MCAULEY 0: Alyssa Williamson homered and fanned 12 batters in a five-inning win for the Red Storm (8-1) over the Lions (1-8) at Portland.

GREELY 9, LAKE REGION 2: Elyse Dinan drove in three runs for Greely (9-2) as the Rangers scored six in the first two innings for a win over Lake Region (0-9) at Naples.

Danielle Cimino got the win, recording 10 strikeouts while allowing six hits and walking two.

WELLS 15, YORK 4: Lauren Bame hit a three-run homer in the fifth to give the Warriors a 6-4 lead and Wells (6-5) tacked on eight runs in the sixth in a win at York (2-8).

Bame also hit a solo shot in the fourth and pitched six innings for the win.

Ivy Sheehan hit a two-run homer for the Wildcats in the third, giving them a 4-1 lead.

OCEANSIDE 13, MORSE 1: Emma Davis had three hits and drove in three runs to pace Oceanside (11-0) in a five-inning win over Morse (1-10) at Rockland.

Rachel Frye struck out 10, walked one and allowed three hits.

YARMOUTH 5, FALMOUTH 3: McKenzie Gray allowed just one earned run to lift the Clippers (5-5) over the Yachtsmen (5-4) at Falmouth.

Gray struck out seven and surrendered one walk and four hits for Yarmouth. Kallie Hutchinson, Melissa Levinson and Monica Austin each drove in a run.

Elizabeth Walker tripled and scored on a single by Jessica Collins for Falmouth.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 20, MT. VIEW 3: Abby Maguire had three hits with two triples and five RBI and Taylor Simmons had four hits and three RBI to pace a 21-hit attack for the Panthers (8-2) against the Mustangs (0-10) at Thorndike.

ST. DOMINIC 15, BOOTHBAY 3: St. Dominic (2-7) scored in all six innings of its mercy-rule win over Boothbay (0-9) at Auburn.

ERSKINE 8, MT. ARARAT 0: Taylor Boucher had three singles and winning pitcher Alyssa Gartley also had three hits to lead Erskine to the KVAC Class A win in South China.

CONY 14, BRUNSWICK 0: Arika Brochu allowed one single in five innings of work and also homered as the Rams cruised to a KVAC A win in Brunswick. Sonja Morse had four doubles for the Rams, who improved to 10-0.

LACROSSE

WINDHAM 12, WESTBROOK 5: Christina Pollard had three goals and an assist to lead the Eagles (4-3) past the Blue Blazes (2-6) at Westbrook.

Luisa Sbardella, Sam Greenlaw and Emily Gilman each added two goals for Windham in the game, which was a continuation of a suspended game from Thursday.

Jackie Harris and Micaela Lebeau had two goals apiece for Westbrook.

WAYNFLETE 8, CAPE ELIZABETH 4: Sadie Cole scored five goals to lead the Flyers (8-0) past the Capers (5-3) at Portland.

Martha Veroneau added two goals and Leigh Fernandez also scored for Waynflete.

Hannah Newhall had two goals for Cape Elizabeth.

BONNY EAGLE 10, SANFORD 6: Rachel Litif and Sam Campobasso scored three goals each to power the Scots (2-5) past the Spartans (0-7) at Sanford. Bonny Eagle built a 6-1 lead before halftime.
