FREEPORT MIDDLE SCHOOL’S sixth-grade math team took third place in last week’s Southern Maine Elementary Math Meet, competing against 25 other math teams from the Greater Portland area. Zach Flood won second place as an individual among 156 competitors.The team is coached by Kevin Forster, a math teacher at Freeport Middle School.
