WINDHAM – The Windham Eagles boys tennis team handled the visiting Cheverus Stags 4-1 in the final match of the regular season at home Monday afternoon.

The Eagles finish with an 11-1 record, their only loss coming at home to Class A West-leading Gorham, 5-0, on May 15. Windham enters the postseason ranked second in Class A West and will play the winner of the preliminary matchup between No. 7 Biddeford and No. 10 South Portland.

The Windham boys tennis team is ranked second in Western Class A with an 11-1 record. Their latest victory: a 4-1 whupping of Cheverus in a home meet last Monday.

In No. 3 singles, the Eagles’ Brandon Currier won 6-3, 6-4.
In No. 2 singles, the Eagles’ Jordan Crowley fell 6-1, 6-3.
Eagles senior Jacopo Secchi, a three-varsity-sport exchange student from Italy, won the No. 1 singles match 6-3, 6-2.
