HABITAT FOR HUMANITY/7 RIVERS MAINE’S third annual 5K Home Run and 20th Annual Spring Walk, held in Bath, generated $36,140, with pledge payments arriving daily that will push the total over $37,000, or 8 percent more revenue than last year’s event generated. Proceeds from the Run and Walk go toward building, weatherizing, repairing or rehabilitating existing homes in Habitat/7 Rivers’ 31-town service area. Randy Miller, owner of Newcastle Chrysler Dodge, who holds the record for raising the most money for Habitat year after year, will be going to a Red Sox game for his efforts. Sponsoring business include Bath Savings Institution, Ames True Value Hardware in Wiscasset, H.M. Payson, Angela Perron, D.P.M. in Brunswick, Atlantic Motorcar in Wiscasset, Yum Mee Chinese Restaurant in Bath, Five Country Credit Union, Goodwin Chevrolet- Mazda in Brunswick, PFBF CPAs in Bath and Larrabee Insurance in Wiscasset. Pictured, Denise and Abigail Ranger, of Richmond, will move into their Habitat home this spring.
