Being a long-term reader of the Maine Sunday Telegram, I am accustomed to the tilted-left articles emanating from its pages.

Thus, it was tantalizing to view the David Rohde commentary titled “Obama’s troubles part of bad pattern” (May 19).

My enthusiasm quickly waned as I read on. Sure enough, Mr. Rohde’s piece contained eight major points either critical of Republicans or defending the Obama administration, with only four in support of the piece’s actual title.

Finally, viewing Mr. Rohde’s background, I instantly realized that I had been duped by another so-called impartial “journalist.”
