FALMOUTH – Thomas Fortier allowed five hits and struck out seven Tuesday as Falmouth earned a 3-2 victory against York in a Western Maine Conference baseball game.

Falmouth (13-2) led 3-0 on a sacrifice fly by Connor Aube, an RBI single by Will D’Agostino and run scored by Connor MacDowell on a groundout.

Cole Merritt hit a two-run homer for the Wildcats (11-4) in the sixth.

MARSHWOOD 11, BIDDEFORD 0: Max McCoomb led off a seven-run third inning with a double and finished with two hits for the Hawks (14-2), who beat the Tigers (6-9) in five innings at Biddeford.

Alex McLean and Matt Brenner drove in two runs apiece, and McLean stole a base for Marshwood.

KENNEBUNK 2, SANFORD 0: Kip Richard drove in both runs with a single in the third inning to lift the Rams (5-10) over the Spartans (4-12) at Kennebunk.

Richard added a double for Kennebunk, and Nick Emmons tossed a three-hit shutout with one walk and five strikeouts.

Ryan Camire of Sanford allowed five hits, striking out four without a walk.

MASSABESIC 2, THORNTON ACADEMY 1: Brian Wardwell struck out seven and walked two in a one-hitter for the Mustangs (5-11) against the Trojans (8-8) at Waterboro.

Massabesic scored its runs in the second inning on a sacrifice fly by Tyler Everett and an RBI single by Noah Gerry.

Drew Gelinas of Thornton scattered three hits and two walks, striking out four.

WATERVILLE 11, MT. VIEW 3: Aiden Fitzgerald drove in three runs to lead Waterville (12-1) over Mt. View (4-11) at Thorndike.

OCEANSIDE 1, WINSLOW 0: Dan Hendricks scored on a fielder’s choice in the 10th inning as the Mariners (10-6) edged the Raiders (13-3) at Rockland.

Nick Mazurek struck out eight and scattered four hits over nine innings, and Ryan Allendar closed out the game for Oceanside.

Dylan Hapworth of Winslow struck out nine and gave up one hit in eight innings.

SACOPEE VALLEY 13, RICHMOND 2: Kyle Jordan’s two-run homer in the third inning gave Sacopee Valley (7-9) a 10-run lead in a five-inning victory against Richmond (5-11) at South Hiram.

Jordan was 3 for 3 with three runs. Brady Anderson had two hits, scored three runs and stole four bases for the Hawks.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 16, TRAIP ACADEMY 4: Sean McDermott hit a two-run double for the Seagulls (6-9), who took advantage of seven errors to down the Rangers (4-11) in six innings at Kittery.

Cameron Heins had a pair of hits for Traip.

WESTBROOK 2, DEERING 1: Caleb Kent singled home Alec Hazelwood in the seventh inning to give the Blue Blazes (13-3) a victory against the Rams (2-13) at Westbrook.

Trailing 1-0 heading into its final at-bat, Westbrook got a leadoff walk by Kyle Schumacher, who stole second base. Hazelwood followed with a single and Colin Joyce drove in Schumacher with a single to tie it.

Aaron Duncanson started for the Blue Blazes and went four innings, allowing two hits and an unearned run. Ethan Nash went the final three, yielding one hit.

Sam Leubbert of Deering allowed seven hits and two runs with three strikeouts.

MAINE CENTRAL INSTITUTE 7, MEDOMAK VALLEY 3: Ethan Duplisea went 2 for 3 with a double, two runs and an RBI to pace the Huskies (2-13) over the Panthers (2-13) at Pittsfield.

Tyler Emerson, George Field and Bryce Collamore had two hits apiece for Medomak Valley.

BONNY EAGLE 9, NOBLE 7: Ben Allen delivered the go-ahead run with a single during a four-run seventh inning as Bonny Eagle (5-11) overcame Noble (4-12) at North Berwick.

Corey Leach provided a two-run double and Briar Moran drove in the final run of the seventh with a single.

CHEVERUS 7, GORHAM 2: Ryan Casale ripped a two-run triple in the third inning and the Stags (9-6) went on to beat the Rams (10-6) at Gorham.

Felix DelVecchio added a two-run single for Cheverus, which scored three runs in both the third and seventh innings.

Nick Greatorex and Chris Hardy had RBI singles for Gorham.

SCARBOROUGH 2, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Jayme Lappin pitched a two-hit shutout to power the Red Storm (14-2) past the Red Riots (5-10) at Scarborough.

Lappin stuck out eight and didn’t allow a walk. Sam Wessel scored both runs and Matt Hartl had an RBI single.

LACROSSE

MASSABESIC 10, NOBLE 8: Dylan Crommett scored the go-ahead goal with five minutes left as Massabesic (5-6) beat Noble (1-10) at Waterboro.

The Mustangs outscored the Knights 5-1 in the fourth quarter to take the lead.

Jonathan Champlin led Massabesic with four goals. Jacob DesRochers and Chase Laflamme added two each.

Nicky Ricker paced the Knights with four goals.

GORHAM 14, WINDHAM 4: Colin Harvey scored five goals, and Mike Susi added four goals and an assist to lead the Rams (5-7) past the Eagles (3-9) at Windham.

Frank Pappalardo chipped in with one goal and three assists, and Matt Petty made 14 saves for Gorham.

Christian Zwirner scored twice for Windham.

GARDINER 13, CAMDEN HILLS 1: Alex Nadeau scored four goals and Keegan Smith had two goals and seven assists to lead the Tigers (11-0) over the Windjammers (5-7) at Rockport.

Josh Caldwell scored three goals and Jake Truman added two for Gardiner.
