WESTBROOK – Nick Tremblay scored with 14.3 seconds remaining Wednesday, capping a comeback that gave Westbrook a 10-9 victory against Massabesic in a schoolboy lacrosse game.

The Blue Blazes (7-5) scored three goals in the final 1:30 to overcome a 9-7 deficit and beat the Mustangs (5-7).

Alec Crimmin scored the goal that made it 9-8 and Noah Oliver tied it with 31.6 seconds left.

Sam Carroll also scored four times for Westbrook. Alex Leblanc made 12 saves.

WAYNFLETE 15, FREEPORT 7: Henry Cleaves had seven goals and an assist to lead the Flyers (6-6) past the Falcons (3-9) at Portland.

Dylan Kingsbury added two goals and two assists, and Timmy Bollinger had two goals and one assist for Waynflete.

Clayton Morrison scored four goals for Freeport.

GIRLS’ LACROSSE

BONNY EAGLE 10, SOUTH PORTLAND 8: Sam Campobasso scored eight times, including the tying goal with 27 seconds left in regulation and another goal in overtime, leading the Scots (6-6) over the Red Riots (7-5) at Standish.

Cassidy Merrill put Bonny Eagle ahead in the first overtime before Campobasso scored in the second.

Shea O’Brien scored four goals for South Portland, including three in a span of 21/2 minutes that gave the Red Riots an 8-7 lead with 1:55 remaining.

Abby Ward made eight saves for Bonny Eagle; Lily SanGiovanni made 15 for South Portland.

MARSHWOOD 12, DEERING 1: Jill Gori had three goals and two assists, and Lindsey Poirier added three goals and one assist to help the Hawks (9-3) down the Rams (3-9) at South Berwick.

Janay Wright added two goals, and Alli Schoff had a goal and four assists for Marshwood.

SOFTBALL

MT. ARARAT 20, BRUNSWICK 1: Kim Leslie walked one and struck out one while tossing a five-inning no-hitter for the Eagles (6-10) against the Dragons (0-16) at Topsham.

Devon Hutchins had four hits.
