GRAY – More than 9,000 homes and businesses in Maine remain without power following a series of severe thunderstorms.

Central Maine Power reports Monday morning that about 8,500 still don’t have electricity, with nearly 3,400 of those outages in Oxford County. Penobscot and Somerset counties were also hit hard.
