Chicken cookout – Saturday, June 8, 5 p.m., Friends Church, Gray Road (across from Public Safety Building), Windham. Sponsored by Windham Land Trust. One-half chicken, potato salad, cole slaw, rolls, beverage and homemade pies. Eat in or take out. $10.

Senior meal – Wednesday, June 12, noon, Saint Anne’s Catholic Church, 299 Main St., Gorham. Home-cooked meal, $3.50.

Free meal – Wednesday, June 12, 5-6 p.m., My Place Teen Center, 755 Main St, Westbrook. Sponsored in collaboration with Wayside Food Program and hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church and the teen center. Use Foster Street entrance; handicapped accessible.

Bean-hole bean supper – Saturday, June 15, 4:30 p.m., United Church of Christ at North Gorham, corner of North Gorham and Standish Neck roads, Gorham. Three kinds of beans baked overnight in a hole, rolls, cole slaw, salads, brown bread, pies, coffee, tea or punch. $9, $4.

Bean supper – Saturday, June 15, 5-6 p.m., Amvets Post 6, Route 100, New Gloucester. Two kinds of beans, brown bread, homemade biscuits, cole slaw, American chop suey, and two tables of desserts. $7, $3.
