WATERBORO – Matt Toth and Eddie Micheti drove in runs Wednesday and Bonanza held on for a 2-1 victory against Massabesic in an American Legion baseball game.
Toth singled home Slade Watson in the third inning and Micheti singled home James Roche in the fifth to give Bonanza a 2-0 lead.
Brian Wardwell scored from third on Ben Chadbourne’s seventh-inning groundout for Massabesic.
SACO & BIDDEFORD SAVINGS OF WESTBROOK 9, FIRST TITLE 8: Zack Bean and Derek Bouchard each contributed two hits and two runs for Saco & Biddeford Savings (1-0) against First Title (0-2) at Portland.
Westbrook won with a three- run seventh inning after First Title rallied from a 6-2 deficit with three runs in the fifth and sixth.
Logan McCarthy had two hits and three runs, and Jensen LaPoint added two hits and three RBI for First Title.

THE EAGLES 6, FALMOUTH 4: Sean Adams hit a two-run homer to give The Eagles the lead in a victory at Lyman.

MARTHA’S VINEYARD 4, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 1: Ryan Siegel singled home Nik Campero and Brett Holmgren as the Sharks (3-4) scored three times in the sixth inning to defeat the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tides (4-4) at Oak Bluff, Mass.
Sam Canales collected a run-scoring single for the Raging Tide.
