TOPSHAM — The “Ponds” at the Solid Waste Facility in Topsham were the place to be last Saturday for the annual Fishing Rally, which is cosponsored by the Topsham Public Library, the Solid Waste Facility and the Parks and Recreation Department.

There were over 50 children and family members who participated in this year’s event.

Winning the prize for “First Fish” that was caught, was 7- year-old Patience Craig, while “Largest Fish” went to Bryn Roma with a 11.5-inch bass.

The “Youngest Fisherman to Catch a Fish” was 2-yearold Violet Paquette, and the “Oldest Fisherman to catch a Fish” was Levi Emmert.
