FREEPORT — A Freeport man suffered minor injuries Monday night during an accident on U.S. Route 1, police said.
Wayne Ashby, 58, declined transportation to the hospital, Police Chief Gerald Schofield said Tuesday.
Schofield said that Katherine Harris, 43, of Portland was driving her 2005 Volvo when her foot slipped off the break, causing the vehicle to hit the rear of Ashby’s 2007 Toyota.
