THE 34TH ANNUAL Heritage Days 5-Miler and Fun Run were held on Thursday in Bath. For the fourth time in the past five years, and third straight, Bath’s Chris Kibler, far left, took the overall title in 26:49. “I love coming home to run in this race,” said the 2008 Morse High School graduate. “I have run this race so many times that I could do it with my eyes closed.” Clockwise from the top of the page, here is the 5-Miler start; female winner Sandy Bouchard (47) of Hudson, Mass., who finished in 34:59; here is the 1-Mile Fun Run winner Kyle Holmsen of Oakland; and 5-Miler runner-up MacLean O’Donnell of Georgetown. This year’s event featured 283 participants in the 5-Miler, while another 161 athletes took part in the Fun Run. See race results on B5.
