Some of the hundreds of participants in The Dance Mile, held Saturday evening, July 13, in Portland to raise money for a downtown art installation by the Maine Center for Creativity. The parade of dancers, behind a DJ on a platform truck, covered about a mile of closed downtown streets before ending with a dance party at Monument Square.
