YORK — A former emergency room nurse, who was out on bail after being indicted on numerous theft and drug-related charges, was arrested by York police Wednesday.

Detective Sgt. Thomas Cryan said Michael T. Worrick-Soule, 34, of York was arrested and charged with violating his bail conditions.

Worrick-Soule was indicted in November on 75 counts related to the alleged theft of drugs from York Hospital.

York police said they went to his home on Windmill Acres Road for a bail condition search and found Worrick-Soule to be in possession of drugs, a large amount of ammunition, knives, alcohol and a firearm that had been disassembled.

He is being held at York County Jail, and is scheduled to appear in Biddeford District Court on Friday.

The case remains under investigation by York Police and the Maine Attorney General’s Office.
