A Saco man remained in critical condition Sunday at Maine Medical Center in Portland after being hit by a pickup truck on Elm Street in Biddeford Friday.

Jamerico Elliott, 51, was bicycling south with a 15-month-old boy in a bicycle seat when a truck crossed the centerline and struck them. The boy was in critical condition at Maine Medical Center Saturday.

Police have not released his name. Information about his condition was not available Sunday.

Biddeford Police released no new information about the accident Sunday.

A third bicyclist, Melodie Brennan, 30, of Saco, was treated and released from Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford. Police did not know if Brennan is related to the other two hurt in the crash, but did say she asked to accompany them to Maine Medical Center.

Police are still trying to determine the cause of the crash. The truck was operated by David Labonte, 56, of Kennebunkport. Police  took a blood sample from Labonte to see if alcohol was a factor but results are not yet available.

After hitting the cyclists, Labonte’s truck crashed into a parked pickup truck that knocked a granite foundation block into a house.
