OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Old Orchard Beach police are investigating a motor vehicle crash that left one person dead Tuesday morning.
Lt. Timothy B. DeLuca said that 38-year-old Garon Murphy of Old Orchard Beach was killed after his motorcycle was struck by a car at the intersection of Cascade Road and Ross Road.
DeLuca said Murphy was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, 58-year-old Jane M. Brennick of Saco, was taken to Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford for observation. Brennick was later released from the hospital.
The accident took place around 10 a.m.
