The Richmond woman injured in a Sunday night fire that destroyed her mobile home is in critical but stable condition at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, according to a hospital representative.
Mary Wasilewski, 55, was taken by ambulance to the hospital Sunday for treatment of smoke inhalation, according to Richmond Fire Chief Matt Roberge, and remained in the intensive care unit Tuesday.

Roberge said Monday that Wasilewski was alone in the home at 43 Kimball St. when the fire broke out. Her adult son, Jed Wasilewski, and his female companion were sleeping in a tent on the property. The American Red Cross is assisting Jed Wasilewski and his companion, Roberge said.
The fire, which was reported around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday by a neighbor, left little more than the framing and a portion of the roof.
It took about 15 minutes to knock down the fire, Roberge said. Most firefighters left around 2:30 a.m. Monday.
An investigator from the state Fire Marshal’s Office arrived at the scene early Monday morning. Sgt. Kenneth Grimes said Monday that investigators were still trying to determine the cause of the fire. Grimes couldn’t be reached immediately today for an update of the investigation’s status.
