HAMPTON, N.H. — Police in Hampton, N.H., say they have arrested a woman on burglary and stalking charges at the home of an ex-boyfriend.
The resident of the home told police he found a masked woman in his home last Friday and that she fled when he confronted her.
Officers found a woman walking in the vicinity a short time later. The man identified her as 41-year-old Dawn Marie Thompson of Haverhill, Mass. He also identified her as being an ex-girlfriend of his.
Thompson was charged with felony burglary and stalking. It wasn’t immediately known if she had a lawyer.
Police in York, Maine, are investigating a similar break-in at the man’s previous residence. He had recently moved to Hampton.
