SOUTH PARIS — Celebration Barn Theater presents the quirky comedy “The Fabulous Problemas” Saturday night. The plot centers on three squirt-gun-slinging desperadoes who will stop at nothing in pursuit of ill-gotten gain. They’ll swindle, seduce and even sing and dance their way into the greatest heist of all time.

Starring Amanda Huotari, Daniel Orrantia and Aaron Tucker, “The Fabulous Problemas” was devised in Bogota, Colombia, and premiered at Celebration Barn in 2011 under the direction of Davis Robinson. Since then, the show has toured to New York, Florida and Indiana, and won critical acclaim.

The cast met at Celebration Barn Theater while studying under various master artists. Tucker has toured extensively with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and in Japan with the Kinoshita Circus. Orrantia performs in Europe and throughout South America as part of the LaGata improvisational theater company. Huotari has brought her solo show, “The Soiree,” to festivals across the country, and is also executive director of Celebration Barn Theater.

Doors for “The Fabulous Problemas” open at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, with showtime at 8 p.m. Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $8 for students and children.

Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling the theater’s box office at 743-8452.
