BOWDOIN – The man found dead on a Bowdoin road has been identified as David Curtis, the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office said.

Chief Deputy Brett Strout said Curtis, 56, was only a few houses away from his home on Adams Road when his body was found in the road shortly before sunrise Wednesday morning.

Strout said the sheriff’s office doesn’t suspect foul play, but is still waiting for the state Medical Examiner’s Office to determine a cause of death.
