Quilt raffle winner to be chosen

Walker Memorial Library, 800 Main St., has announced a winner in the quilt raffle will be chosen following guest author Kate Flora, who will talk from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22.

Quilt tickets are $1, or six tickets for $5. All money raised will go toward the library’s historic renovation efforts. Sharon Schulberger of Westbrook donated the quilt, which would make a nice gift or to keep.

Walker Memorial Library will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2, for the Labor Day holiday.
