MILBRIDGE — Police say a Milbridge man has died in a motorcycle accident and speed and alcohol may have been factors.
Authorities say 25-year-old Bryan Reed was headed north on Route 1A at about 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday when he lost control when crossing Bridge Street.
Responders tell WABI-TV that Reed fell off his bike and hit the guard rail.
The road was shut down until midnight during the investigation.
Milbridge police were assisted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and state police.
