GLENBURN — Maine State Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who entered a market in Glenburn on Sunday afternoon and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police said the robbery took place around 1:24 p.m. at the Checkout Market on Pushaw Road.
The suspect, a white male, entered the store, threatened the clerk and then ran from the store before getting into a sport utility vehicle. The vehicle was last seen traveling on Lakeview Road toward Route 221 in Glenburn.
Video surveillance from the store captured pictures of the robber and his vehicle. Anyone with information concerning the robbery should contact the Maine State Police at 1-800-432-7381 or 207-866-2121.
