Police on Tuesday released a surveillance video of a Glenburn robbery as part of an effort to enlist the public’s help in tracking down the suspect.

Police said the robbery took place Sunday at 1:24 p.m. at the Checkout Market on Pushaw Road.

The suspect, a white man, entered the store, threatened the clerk and then ran from the store before getting into a sport utility vehicle. The vehicle was last seen traveling on Lakeview Road toward Route 221 in Glenburn.

The video shows the robber – wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, baseball cap, sunglasses and gloves – threatening the store clerk from in front of the counter, then heading around the counter to collect money from the register.

Anyone with information about the robbery should contact the Maine State Police at 1-800-432-7381.
