BATH – Connor Aube scored on a 14-yard run in the third quarter Friday night and Falmouth went on to a 7-0 victory against Morse in a rain-soaked Western Class B football game at McMann Field.

Aube led the Yachtsmen (2-0) with 71 yards on seven carries. Tyler Rolfe helped the running game with 16 carries for 65 yards.

The teams spent most of the first half jockeying for field position. Joey Goodrich kept the Shipbuilders (1-1) at a distance with seven punts for 225 yards.

Safety IV Stucker, linebacker Storm Covens, and linemen Drew Chamberlain and Luciano Ciraulo led the way as Falmouth used its swarming defense to smother the Morse offense.

HAMPDEN ACADEMY 72, GORHAM 7: The Broncos (1-1) connected on a 49-yard touchdown pass on their first play from scrimmage and finished each of their first three possessions with a touchdown pass, cruising past the Rams (0-2) at Gorham.

Stephen Burns scored for the Rams on a 30-yard run in the fourth quarter.

WINDHAM 23, EDWARD LITTLE 12: Liam Sullivan rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns as Windham (2-0) downed Edward Little (0-2) at Auburn.

After Zach Davis snagged a pass from Tyler Johnson for a 58-yard touchdown in the first quarter, the Windham defense followed up by scoring on a safety, and Sullivan ran for his first TD to give Windham a 16-0 lead after one quarter.

The Eagles held the Red Eddies scoreless until the fourth.

Ethan Petty led Windham with eight tackles, and safety Dylan Koza had six tackles and an interception.

MARSHWOOD 53, OCEANSIDE 8: Marshwood (2-0) scored on its first four possessions and downed Oceanside (0-2) at South Berwick.

After Oceanside fumbled the opening kickoff, Luke Blanchette completed a 40-yard scoring pass to his brother, Beau, on the first play from scrimmage.

The Hawks made it 28-0 after a quarter on a 20-yard run by Sam Woodman, a 50-yard pass to Ryan O’Neil and a 2-yard run by Woodman.

SANFORD 31, OXFORD HILLS 6: Josh Schroder carried 22 times for 148 yards as Sanford (2-0) downed Oxford Hills (1-1) at South Paris.

Sanford had a total of 51 plays for 325 yards.

CAPE ELIZABETH 31, POLAND 0: Christian Lavallee and Jack Drinan each rushed for a pair of touchdowns as the Capers (1-1) downed the Knights (1-1) at Poland.

Nick Moulton also scored a touchdown for the Capers, who collected eight sacks.
