CUMBERLAND — The 142nd Cumberland County Fair is set to begin this Sunday with scheduled events that will include professional bull riding, pig races, a giant pumpkin weigh-in, harness racing, and a demolition derby.
The Cumberland Farmers Club, which operates the fair, says on its website that this year’s fair will feature the Rawhide Rodeo, a professional company of rodeo performers that will do bull riding and other rodeo events.
Singer Don Campbell is also scheduled to perform on Sunday along with members of the Colby College Woodsman’s team.
The fair, which is located off Blanchard Road in Cumberland, will run from Sunday. Sept 22 through Saturday, Sept. 28.
Admission is $9 for persons ages 13 and over.
