BATH — On Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., two US Olympic gold medalist swimmers are scheduled to visit the Bath Area Family YMCA to give a swimming clinic.
Rowdy Gaines is a threetime gold medalist and former world record holder. Gaines was a 1980 and 1984 Olympic team member and has been network TV’s commentator at every major swimming event since 1996 that is on TV.
Conor Dwyer competed recently at the 2012 Olympic games earning a gold medal.
They will give motivational talks/in water demonstrations/ questions and answers with the children and autographs.
This clinic is available to swimmers 8 and older, including high school swimmers.

The Bath YMCA has hosted former American Olympians in the past: Matt Vogel (1976), Kaitlin Sandeno (2008), Aaron Piersol (2000) and Josh Davis (1996).
