FRYEBURG – Ryan Gullikson ran in a 2-point conversion after Billy Rascoe’s 3-yard touchdown run in the final minute Saturday, lifting Fryeburg Academy to its first Western Class B football victory of the season, 22-21 against Morse.

On the ensuing kickoff, Morse (2-2) advanced the ball to the Fryeburg 30 on a return and a penalty, but Ben Southwick sealed the win for the Raiders (1-3) with an interception.

The teams combined to score 28 points in the fourth quarter, with Morse taking a 14-8 lead early in the quarter and the teams exchanging touchdowns the rest of the way.

Rascoe rushed for a pair of touchdowns. Cody Loewe also ran for a TD for Fryeburg.

LISBON 42, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 6: Quincy Thompson finished with 172 yards rushing and 101 receiving yards while scoring four touchdowns for the Greyhounds (3-1) against the Seagulls (2-2) at Lisbon Falls.

Thompson also converted a pair of fake punts for Lisbon, one on a pass and one on a run.

Jordan Torres added 164 yards rushing and scored a touchdown for the Greyhounds.

WATERVILLE 53, HERMON 0: The Purple Panthers (4-0) scored touchdowns on their first eight possessions and breezed past Hermon (0-4) at Waterville.

Waterville has outscored opponents 223-30, although its opponents have a combined 4-12 record.

The Panthers will receive their first true test next Saturday against Foxcroft Academy, the defending Class C champion.
