NASHUA, N.H. — Police have charged a New Hampshire woman with leaving her 4-year-old son alone in a hotel room.

Merrimack police said they found 24-year-old Amanda Sandy of Nashua passed out in her car Sunday in the hotel parking lot. Her other young child was in the vehicle.

They said the 4-year-old was left alone for several hours.

The children were released to a family member.

Sandy was being arraigned Monday. It wasn’t immediately known if she had a lawyer.
