9/23 at 9:34 a.m. Craig T. Carrigan, 45, of Oxford Street, Portland, was arrested at Payne Road and U.S. Route 1 by Officer Ian Theriault on a charge of possession of marijuana and outstanding warrants from other agencies.

9/24 at 10:56 a.m. Matt C. Wheeler, 32, of Bonnybriar Road, South Portland, was arrested at Pine Point Road and Pine Ledge Drive by Officer Cody Lounder on a charge of operating with a suspended or revoked license and an outstanding warrant from another agency.

9/24 at 12:55 p.m. Timothy L. Sanborn, 22, of Woodfield Drive, was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Cody Lounder on charges of possession of marijuana and violating conditions of release.

9/24 at 5:51 p.m. Sheldon W. Blais, 55, of Ross Road, was arrested on East Grand Avenue by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of assault.

9/25 at 10:26 a.m.  Pedro E. Pacheco, 35, of Atlantic Avenue, Biddeford, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Cody Lounder on outstanding warrants from another agency.

9/25 at 7:48 p.m. Stanley J. Grugiel, 56, of NW 76th Place, Tamarac, Fla., was arrested on County Road by Officer Timothy Dalton on charges of operating under the influence and operating without a license.

9/28 at 1:50 a.m. Travis A. Beaulieu, 29, of Ross Road, was arrested on Pine Point Road by Officer Michael Thurlow on a charge of operating under the influence.

Cat burglary

9/23 at 10:54 a.m. A pair of girls’ athletic shoes, size 6 or 7, with an imprint of a cheetah on the side, was reported stolen from a Scarborough High School locker room.

Elevated crime

9/25 at 3:50 p.m. An aluminum ventilation hood system was reported stolen from the roof of Kitchen and Cork on Expedition Drive.

Getting charged

9/26 at 8:36 a.m. A parked vehicle considered suspicious at Walmart on Gallery Boulevard turned out to have a dead battery and was charged up by a store employee.
