SOUTH PORTLAND – Shae O’Brien scored two goals, including a tiebreaking header off a corner from Bridget Campbell in the 60th minute, and South Portland earned a 2-1 win over Portland in an SMAA girls’ soccer match Friday.

O’Brien started the scoring in the 52nd minute with an assist from Stephanie Aceto. Emma Stehli evened it four minutes later.

Emma Russell had seven saves for the Red Riots (1-8). Zoe River stopped five shots for Portland (3-5-1).

MARSHWOOD 1, DEERING 0: Hannah Folger’s first-half goal was the only scoring as the Hawks (7-2) beat the Rams (7-2) in South Berwick.

MCAULEY 1, BONNY EAGLE 0: Becca McNamara scored from 20 yards following an assist from Marge Hatch nine minutes before halftime, and the Lions (4-5) went on to defeat the visiting Scots (0-8-1) at Portland.

Kim Fisher made 13 saves for the win. Kelsey Parkin stopped 12 shots for the Scots.

MASSABESIC 4, CHEVERUS 1: Emma Cost scored three goals and Kim Hendrix scored the other for the visiting Mustangs (4-4) against the Stags (1-7-1) at Portland.

Abby Goodrich scored off a corner kick for Cheverus.

Hannah Lundrigan made 14 saves for Massabesic. Anna Niedermeyer made four saves for Cheverus.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, WELLS 2: Ashley Moreau, Julia Martell and Sarah Giggey scored as the Patriots (4-5) opened a 3-1 halftime lead and held off the Warriors (4-5-1) at Gray.

Stephanie Woods and Sophie Lamb scored for Wells, and Kate Tufts stopped nine shots.

Zoey Adams made 10 saves for the win.

WAYNFLETE 2, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Ella Millard and Leigh Fernandez scored second-half goals as Waynflete (6-1-1) beat Sacopee Valley (3-5) in South Hiram.

Julia Howard had six saves for the Flyers. Madison Day made 11 saves for Sacopee Valley.

YORK 2, KENNEBUNK 1: Maddie Amidon scored in the first half, Claire Leroux added a goal in the second half and the Wildcats (4-4-2) held off the visiting Rams (2-7-1).

Samantha Robinson and Charlotte Reilly each had an assist for York, and Emma Rohrer made six saves.

Liz Cain scored for Kennebunk with 15 minutes left. Kyra Schwartzman made 15 saves.

NYA 3, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2: Jackson Cohen-Smith scored two goals and D.J. Nicholas also scored as the visiting Panthers (10-0) topped the Raiders (3-4-1).

Amigo Ortiz scored from Jordan Kruguer just before halftime and Gabe Perry converted a penalty kick with 10 minutes left for the Raiders.

Austin Kidder made five saves for NYA. Blaine Andreoli stopped two shots for Fryeburg.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 5, WELLS 1: Noah Lobozzo scored three goals to lead the Patriots (2-6) over the Warriors (1-8) at Wells.

Tommy Cogswell and Tyler St. Pierre also scored for the Patriots. Dan Quint was Wells’ goal scorer.

Spencer Harriman made three saves for Gray-New Gloucester, while Chandler Bridge made 10 saves for Wells.

OCEANSIDE 4, MT. VIEW 0: Nick Judge scored the only goal of the first half before Oceanside (7-3) pulled away from the Mustangs (4-4-1) in Thorndike, with second-half goals by R.J. Hall, Kaleb Robinson and Christian Straka.

Mariners goalie Phil Atwood made three saves. Mt. View’s Mikey Hustus and Emmett Shell combined for eight saves.

ERSKINE ACADEMY 3, MORSE 0: Trevor Hubbard, Ryan Rodrigue and Zack Isbell scored to lead the Eagles (8-1) to a win in South China.

Hubbard also had an assist. Erskine keeper Jared Gartley made one save.

Myles Day stopped 13 shots for Morse (1-7-1).
