TOPSHAM — Colleen E. Giroux, 72, of Topsham, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2013.

She was born Aug. 24, 1941, in Sherman Mills, the daughter of Leonard and Florence (McNally) Frank. Colleen graduated from Morse High School in Bath in 1959 and attended the University of Maine in Brunswick.

Colleen raised four children and worked for several local businesses over many years. She loved gardening and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Giroux of Topsham; her sister, Joanne Chateauvert of Hallowell; her brother, Leonard Frank and his wife, Jeanne of Missoula, Mont.; her sons, Michael Giroux and Joni Sansouci of Topsham, and David Giroux and his wife, Mary (McDaniel) Giroux of Topsham; her daughters, Dianne Giroux and her husband, Marc Boissonneault of Durham, and Donna Giroux and Bryan Hardacker of Kennebunk; and her grandchildren, Christopher and Kevin

Giroux of Topsham, who have brought much joy to her life.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Oct. 9, from noon-2 p.m. at Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick, where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Fr. Normand Carpentier officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Brunswick.

The family has requested that donations in lieu of flowers should be made to CHANS Home Health Care, 60 Baribeau Drive, Brunswick, ME 04011.
