TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School ‘B’ field hockey team hosted Bath Middle school on Wednesday and came away with a 0-0 tie.

Both teams had multiple attempts to win with shots on goal, but both goalies had outstanding games in the net.

For Mt. Ararat, Karli Clark turned away eight Destroyer attempts in her debut in goal, while Bath’s goalie turned away five Eagle shots.

Playing well defensively for the Eagles were Frankie Garver and Emily Robbins, along with sixth-graders Caroline Gepfert, Maisey Pilch, Machaela Appleby and Grace Trebilcock.

Mt. Ararat travels to Auburn for their next league game today.
