SOUTH PARIS – Mike Marzilli used his running and passing Friday night to help Deering to its first Eastern Class A football victory of the season, 18-8 against Oxford Hills.

Marzilli finished with 68 yards on 10 rushes, including a 2-yard quarterback sneak in the third quarter, and was 6-of-9 passing for 97 yards to lead the Rams (1-5).

Dominick Bernard caught a 39-yard touchdown pass from Max Chabot in the second quarter for Deering, and Dan Marzilli rounded out the scoring with a 12-yard rush in the fourth quarter against the Vikings (1-5).

Frederic Gemmer added 43 yards on nine rushes for the Rams.

BONNY EAGLE 47, MASSABESIC 14: Jon Woods scored three touchdowns, and Zach Dubiel and Matt Smith added two each to lead the Scots (6-0) past the Mustangs (1-5) at Standish, giving Coach Kevin Cooper his 200th career victory.

Woods scored the first three touchdowns on rushes of 2 and 3 yards in the first quarter and a 38-yard run in the second.

Dubiel scored the next two on rushes of 1 and 11 yards, and Smith rounded out the half with scoring runs of 50 and 5 yards for a 47-0 lead.

Trevor Walton scored on an 8-yard run in the third quarter and Jesse Hall on a 2-yard run in the fourth for Massabesic.

Dubiel finished with 121 yards on 13 carries. Woods added 85 yards on five carries.

MESSALONSKEE 21, BRUNSWICK 14: Jake Dexter’s 2-yard touchdown run in overtime lifted visiting Messalonskee (3-3) over previously unbeaten Brunswick (5-1).

Dylan Bragg scored on a short run for Messalonskee and teammate Corey McKenzie added a 55-yard run. Brady Larson and Lucas McCue scored for the Dragons.

FALMOUTH 40, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 14: Connor Aube ran for 110 yards, caught one touchdown and rushed for another and intercepted two passes, sparking the Yachtsmen (4-2) over the Raiders (1-5) at Falmouth.

Storm Covens rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns, Tyler Rolfe had 90 yards and a score, and Noah Nelson threw a pair of touchdown passes for Falmouth.

Ryan Gullikson threw for a score and Billy Rascoe had a touchdown run for Fryeburg.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 56, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 19: The Phoenix (5-1) raced to a 21-0 first-quarter lead and defeated the Patriots (0-6) at Livermore Falls.

David Chantlette and Jacob Baggs had rushing touchdowns for Gray-New Gloucester, and Carson Hodsdon threw a scoring pass to Tristan Herod.

KENNEBUNK 50, MORSE 7: Nicco DeLorenzo had 10 carries for 137 yards and two touchdown as the Rams (6-0) rolled past the Shipbuilders (3-3) at Bath.

DeLorenzo had a 17-yard TD run in the first quarter and scored from 4 yards in the second as the Rams ended the first half with a 40-0 lead.

Jesse Shields also had two touchdowns: a 4-yard reception from Nick Emmons and a 7-yard run. Emmons completed 6 of 9 passes for 100 yards.

The Rams received solid play from defensive linemen Shane Normandeau, Austin Cressey, Ricky Black and Jacob Boothby, who recovered a fumble in the end zone in the second quarter.

Chris Broadhead also recovered a fumble in the end zone.

Harrison Vosburgh capped the first-quarter scoring with a 6-yard TD run. Jake Lary kicked five extra points and added a 32-yard field goal.

DIRIGO 13, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Tyler Frost scored on a 35-yard run in the second quarter and Riley Robinson added a late 1-yard scoring run as the Cougars (4-2) defeated the Seagulls (3-3) at Dixfield.

NOKOMIS 42, CAMDEN HILLS 0: Noah Kershner had 220 yards rushing and accounted for four touchdowns to lead the Warriors (3-3) over the Windjammers (1-5) at Rockport.

MT. VIEW 42, ELLSWORTH 20: Steven Davis scored four touchdowns, two rushing and two on punt returns, to lead the Mustangs (3-3) over the Eagles (0-6) at Ellsworth.
