Field-Allen American Legion Post 148 will be installing Mel Greenier this coming Wednesday, Nov. 6, as the new Post Commander. The installation will be conducted by Second District Commander Gary York. Greenier is a Westbrook native who recently retired as New England Territorial Sales Manager for Gates Corporation. There will be a social with refreshments prior to the installation at 5 p.m. for members to meet their new commander. The normal business meeting will follow at 6 p.m.
