11/3 at 12:01 p.m. Alicia J. Hallock, 64, of Mechanic Street, Rockland, was arrested on Gallery Boulevard by Officer Shawn Anastasoff on outstanding warrants from other agencies.

10/28 at 2:38 p.m. Jay M. Edson, 51, of West Street, Biddeford, was issued a summons on East Grand Avenue by Officer Cody Lounder on a charge of operating with a suspended or revoked license.

10/29 at 10:25 a.m. Lanette J. Lovely, 41, of Forest Street, Portland, was issued a summons on Holmes Road by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of possession of marijuana.

10/29 at 2:53 p.m. John W. Patenaude Jr., 42, of Hancock Road,  Casco, was issued a summons on Pine Point Road by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of operating with a suspended or revoked license.

10/30 at 1:38 p.m. Eloge Gateka, 28, of India Street, Portland, was issued a summons on U.S. Route 1 by Officer Cody Lounder on a charge of exceeding the speed limit by 30 mph or more.

10/30 at 5:48 p.m. Shawn A. Allen, 34, of South Street, Biddeford, was issued a summons at U.S. Route 1 and Old Blue Point Road by Officer Benjamin Landry on a charge of possession of marijuana.

11/3 at 7:03 p.m. Richard P. Hemmerdinger, 47, of Willowdale Road, was issued a summons at U.S. Route 1 and Enterprise Drive by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of displaying a fictitious vehicle inspection sticker.

10/28 at 12:11 p.m. An employee at Bad Dog Deli on U.S. Route 1 reported someone known to her had scribbled rude graffiti on her car while she was at work. Damage was estimated at $250.

Basket case

11/1 at 9:10 a.m. Police gave a man a no-trespass order at Maine Smoke Shop on U.S. Route 1 after he allegedly tried to steal cigarettes the night before. Police said the man explained he stuffed packs of cigarettes into his pockets because he could not fit all of them into his hands.

Work ethic

11/1 at 11:43 a.m. A Broadturn Road resident said someone he hired to take down and rebuild a stairway has not returned a tool kit and generator he borrowed. They are valued at about $900. The stairway remains unfinished.
