To the Editor:

There must be two Coastal Humane Society shelters: the one Stephanie O’Hanlon wrote about (“Animal shelter indeed in turmoil,” Nov. 5, Page A6) and the one where I volunteer.

The one I go to is filled with love. The one I go to has staff members who know all the dogs by name. The one I go to has filled water and food dishes, warm beds, lots of toys and continuous attention from staff members.

Perhaps Ms. O’Hanlon would like to visit the one I go to and feel the love.
