BRUNSWICK — Coastal Studies for Girls will hold an information hour at Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant St., at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2.

The program calls itself the nation’s first and only residential semester-long school for 10th-grade girls. It offers girls from around the country the opportunity to immerse themselves in marine science, leadership and rigorous core academics while living at the school’s historic farmhouse in Freeport.

CSG is accepting applications from ninth-grade girls for 2014-15 semesters. Limited space is available for 10thgrade girls in the upcoming spring semester, which begins Feb. 9.For more information, visit www.coastalstudiesforgirls.org.
