BATH — A Bath man was arrested and charged with drug trafficking Monday by Bath police in cooperation with the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department and Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Special MDEA agents arrested Michael J. Graffam, 39, at 9 Charles St. Monday and charged him with unlawful trafficking in schedule W drugs, a Class B felony which is punishable by up to 10 years incarceration and a $20,000 fine. 

Bath police stated in a release issued Thursday that the arrest followed a drug investigation involving the sale of prescription medication at Graffam’s former residence at 283 Centre St., in Bath on Oct. 22.

Graffam was given a court date of Jan. 14, 2014.
