It was another great fall season on the gridiron, pitch, field, trails and courses for local athletes.

Brunswick, Morse and Mt. Ararat all had moments to remember.

Brunswick had the most success in football, making it to the Eastern Class B Final before losing to Cony. In Western B, Mt. Ararat completed its rise back to contention by making the playoffs and Morse also took part in the postseason.

In girls’ soccer, Mt. Ararat reached the Eastern A Final before losing to Bangor. Brunswick also fell to Bangor (in the semifinals). Morse also made it to the playoffs, falling to York in the Western B quarterfinals.

On the boys’ side, Mt. Ararat lost to Hampden Academy in the semifinals, while Brunswick was ousted by Bangor in the quarterfinals.

Mt. Ararat was the lone field hockey squad to make it to the postseason, falling to Messalonskee in the quarterfinals.

Cross country saw several strong performances. The Brunswick girls led the way with a fourth place state meet finish.

Golf featured Brunswick making it to the state match, where it tied for ninth.
