ST. THOMAS, Virgin Islands — Tricia Liston scored 15 of her 20 points in the first half and added 11 rebounds to lead No. 2 Duke to a 97-64 win over Central Michigan at the Paradise Jam on Friday.

Elizabeth Williams and Alexis Jones added 14 points each for the Blue Devils (7-0).

Duke trailed 24-21 midway through the first half before scoring 18 of the next 20 points to take a 39-26 lead with 5:37 left. The Blue Devils led 49-30 at the half and cruised through the final 20 minutes against the Chippewas (1-4), who were playing the highest ranked opponent in team history.

(8) MARYLAND 100, TEXAS SOUTHERN 59: Alyssa Thomas had 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Terrapins (6-1) in a rout in the San Juan Shootout in Puerto Rico.

The Terrapins will play Ohio on Saturday.

ARIZONA STATE 94, (11) NORTH CAROLINA 81: Adrianne Thomas scored 23 points as the Sun Devils (5-1) outscored the Tar Heels 17-4 in overtime for an upset win in Cancun, Mexico.

North Carolina’s Diamond DeShields made a bucket to start overtime but Arizona State responded with a 9-0 run.

TEXAS 69, (12) TEXAS A&M 58: Nneka Enemkpali had 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Longhorns (4-2) to an upset victory over the Aggies (4-1) at the Paradise Jam Classic in the Virgin Islands.

(13) PENN STATE 61, OREGON STATE 56: Tori Waldner and Dara Taylor scored the first six points of the second half in a 90-second burst as the Lions (4-1) surged ahead of Oregon State in the Junkanoo Jam in Freeport, Bahamas.

(15) LSU 69, RUTGERS 65: Freshman Raigyne Moncrief scored a season-high 27 points to lead the Tigers (5-1) past Rutgers in the Women’s Invitational at Barclays Center in New York.

(22) GEORGIA 80, GEORGE WASHINGTON 60: Tiaria Griffin scored a game-high 19 points as the Bulldogs (7-0) overwhelmed the Colonials in Atlanta.

WOMEN’S HOCKEY

ROBERT MORRIS 4, MAINE 2: Brittany Howard scored four goals for the Eagles (14-3-1) against the Black Bears (0-12-3) at Pittsburgh.

Mariah Fujimagari made 44 saves for the Black Bears, who were outshot, 48-12.

Jillian Langtry scored early in the third period and Karissa Kirkup got Maine’s other goal.
