Award-winning journalist and historian Colin Woodard (a staff writer for the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram) will talk about his book, “American Nations: A History of the Eleven Rival Regional Cultures of North America.” The book identifies 11 distinct nations within North America, each with its own historical roots, and details how those distinguishing ideals and identities influence and shape politics.
