Portland senior Justin Zukowski prepares to tackle Deering sophomore Dan Marzilli during the teams’ 102nd annual Turkey Day showdown Thursday at Fitzpatrick Stadium. Still stinging from its Eastern A Final loss to Cheverus, the Bulldogs took out their frustrations on the Rams, 47-6, to take a 55-40-7 all-time lead in the series. It was just Portland’s second win over Deering in the last 12 Thanksgiving meetings. Zukowski had four TD runs and Ronald Hargrove, Jayvon Pitts-Young and Dominic DiMillo each had one. Dominick Bernard caught a touchdown pass from Max Chabot for Deering’s score.
