WATERVILLE — Pro Baseball Experience is now accepting registrations for Summer Baseball Camps, to be held at Colby College, Richmond and the Boothbay YMCA.

Also, “Bullpen Pitcher’s Clinics” are on tap for Dec. 8 and Dec. 15 at Mt. Ararat High School from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

In addition, Pro Baseball’s 20th annual Winter Baseball Academy begins on Jan. 12.

The Colby Summer Camp is set for June 17-21 for ages 15 and under; the Richmond event from June 24-28 for ages 12 and under; and the Boothbay YMCA Camp from July 15-19 for ages 15 and under.

All coaches will be under the direction of current Colby College head coach and former Boston Red Sox and New York Mets pitcher Dale Plummer. Prior to pitching professionally for eight seasons, Plummer played for the University of Maine Black Bears from 1984-1988.

Plummer played for recent Boston Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine, current Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington and current

Pittsburgh Pirates manager Clint Hurdle. He also pitched for current Colorado Rockies pitching coach Bob Apodaka and played with current Seattle Mariners manager Eric Wedge, former Toronto Blue Jays manager John Gibbons, as well as several other professional coaches like Tim Bogar, a recent Boston Red Sox bench coach.

Plummer currently coaches at Colby and has conducted baseball camps throughout the U.S., Canada, England and South Eastern Australia.

The fee are $200 for Colby and Richmond, and $225 for Boothbay, and privates lessons are also available at $50 per hour.
